We are thrilled to officially open the doors to our brand-new, state-of-the-art store in Baltinglass this morning! Located at Weaver’s Square, this €10 million development marks our 6th store in the county and brings 22 new permanent jobs to the local community. The ribbon was officially cut this morning by Wicklow LGFA star Ella Parke. To celebrate, we were also delighted to welcome representatives from Baltinglass GAA/LGFA and present them with €1,000 in Lidl vouchers to support the incredible work they do. The modernised store features a spacious 1,420 sqm sales floor, offering a premier shopping experience equipped with self-checkouts, two Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) machines, an off-licence, customer restrooms with baby changing facilities, the popular in-store bakery and a spacious customer car park. The store has also been fitted with high-performing energy-efficient technologies and rooftop solar (PV) panels to reduce its carbon footprint. A big thank you to all the local residents who have supported us from the very start of this journey to now. We were absolutely blown away by the incredible turnout this morning!
