What happens when a Lidl product wall becomes the toughest opponent Armand “Mondo” Duplantis has ever faced? Can the best pole vaulter in history overcome a 5.50-meter-high barrier made of 3,000 Lidl products? Duplantis gave it a try and needed three attempts for this challenge. 🚀 The exceptional athlete knows how pole vaulting works. But our wall was different. It was opaque. He couldn't see the landing zone. He had to rely completely on his technique while standing before a completely unknown obstacle. "This mental challenge was probably the hardest I have ever faced. And I had already broken several world records at that point," says Olympic champion Armand Duplantis. It is precisely this form of passion that drives our team at Lidl International every day.
