"What started as a job rotation in Great Britain turned into a life-changing decision for my family." Tomáš Pásek, Sales Area Manager at Lidl GB, has been part of #teamlidl for nine years. Starting as a Graduate Trainee at Lidl Česká republika, he worked his way up to Area Manager before joining the Job Rotation Program. Working in one of the fastest-growing Lidl markets drew him in immediately. "Store numbers keep climbing, which creates a very positive, forward-thinking atmosphere." 🚀 When his rotation came to an end after 1.5 years, going back didn't feel right. Together with his wife and two children, Tomas settled in North Devon, trading landlocked Brno for the Atlantic coast. "Giving our kids the chance to grow up and learn English here is an opportunity we couldn't pass up. Since I love surfing, North Devon was the final puzzle piece." Lidl fully supported the move with a comprehensive relocation package.
