"Going abroad, you will learn more about yourself than in any classroom." Dana Anne Kolthof, Project Manager Supply Chain at Lidl España, has been part of #teamlidl since 2021. After working as a Sales Manager in two regional divisions at Lidl in Deutschland, she moved to Spain in October through the Lidl International Job Rotation Program. ❤️💙💛 In a newly defined role, Dana is building the strategic bridge between Sales and Supply Chain to optimize product availability."Our goal is to help customers get exactly what they need. I'm designing those processes to make Lidl España even stronger, and the trust my team places in me, especially while I'm still learning Spanish, is incredible." Experiencing the Spanish work style was a great addition to her professional journey. "There's a unique energy here. If you stay flexible and motivated, you can reach any goal at Lidl." From skiing in Sierra Nevada to spending days on the beach, Dana embraces Andalusia's diversity fully. She started playing padel, enjoys hiking and even ran her first beach half-marathon. To improve her Spanish, she also regularly attends language exchanges. 🇪🇸 With three months of language training and monthly flights home, Lidl made the transition smooth. Her advice for people considering the program? "Growth only happens outside your comfort zone. Choosing the International Job Rotation Program was about pushing my limits and truly evolving," Dana says. "Just do it. You can only win!"
