The goal: A radical shift in perspective to sustainably secure practical relevance in our daily work. The hard facts of the initiative: 📊 790 corporate headquarters colleagues in action 📈 An 85% sign-up rate 🏪 70 stores across 9 regional divisions in Germany ⏱️ 1 full day in the stores for each participant Our colleague Stefanie Storch, Head of End-to-End Data Basis, shares her insights straight from the sales floor: The Daily Routine: Dynamic & Physical 📦 "It’s incredibly varied: checking freshness in the meat section, stocking shelves, answering customer questions, tidying up the warehouse, and resetting promotional displays. The day flies by because you're constantly on the move." HQ vs. Store: Designing the Future of Data 🔄 The biggest similarity? A shared focus on efficiency and problem-solving. "We are currently doing the groundwork to monitor and manage our supply chains digitally. Experiencing the store operations firsthand is essential for this process. If a supply chain hits a snag, the store team and our customers feel it first. That is exactly the on-the-ground reality we want our future systems to capture."
