"Leading a team back home is one thing. Doing it in a foreign language and a different culture is a completely different level of leadership." Peter Hudák, Area Manager at Lidl GB, has been part of #teamlidl for seven years. Originally from Lidl Slovenská republika, he started as a Store Manager trainee. After supporting the Lidl Plus launch at his Regional Distribution Center, leading a store was his next chapter. Two years later, he was promoted to the role of Area Manager, before joining the Lidl International Job Rotation Program in Great Britain. 🇬🇧 Now responsible for five stores at the Newton Aycliffe Regional Distribution Center, Peter focuses on driving sales performance and building stable, motivated teams. He moved with his wife and son, and Great Britain's inclusive, welcoming culture has made the whole family feel right at home. "The growth is immense. It builds your character and improves your skills in ways you simply can't imagine." The change in structure was a key highlight.
