"There's nothing to complain about when you get the chance to live in a vibrant city while advancing your career." Miikka, District Manager at Lidl Danmark, has been part of #teamlidl since 2018. After seven years as a District Manager at Lidl Suomi, he joined the Lidl International Job Rotation Program in Copenhagen. 🇩🇰 Miikka started "boots on the ground," spending his first weeks on the shop floor before taking over his own district. "Seeing our global strategy meet local Danish reality, and understanding what works in this specific market, has been the best part." Leading a multinational team was a new but valuable experience. One of his first highlights was the Julefrokost, a traditional Danish Christmas lunch his colleagues put together. "It was a massive, fun event that allowed me to meet so many new people." For the whole family, Copenhagen has been a dream.
