From PhD to pre-seed. Cardiovolt.ai has raised £1.44M pre-seed, led by Twin Path Ventures. I started this journey years ago in Fu Siong Ng's lab at National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial, building models that could extract information from an ECG that no human clinician could. That felt like a research curiosity at first. It no longer does. The AI-ECG Risk Estimation (AIRE) platform extracts signals invisible to the human eye to detect conditions that a standard ECG would miss. Validated across 6 million ECGs and four continents. Published in #TheLancetDigitalHealth, #EuropeanHeartJournal, and #JAMACardiology. The science was always the foundation. But it needs to get out of the lab to help patients. That's why we built this company. This round gives us the runway to move from research to clinical reality.
