What happens inside a lime plant - and why does it matter in everyday life? Between June 3 and 16, we welcomed around 200 primary school pupils to explore these questions firsthand. 👩‍🏫 Through guided visits, students discovered how lime supports essential processes - from water treatment and agriculture to steel and paper production. They also stepped inside the plant’s control room and automated packaging lines, gaining a concrete view of how operations run reliably, day after day. The experience continued beyond the visit, with a drawing challenge encouraging students to translate what they learned into their own perspective. 🎨 Now in its 5th edition, Environment Week reflects a clear commitment: staying close to local communities and helping younger generations understand the role industry plays behind the scenes.
