For the pharmaceutical industry in the EU, the requirements are normally related to stable isotope-enriched copper materials, not naturally occurring isotopic copper. A more technically accurate formulation would be: --- For pharmaceutical and biomedical applications in the European Union, customers typically require stable isotope-enriched copper, such as Cu-63 or Cu-65, with a certified isotopic enrichment level and high chemical purity. For example: Stable isotope copper Cu-65 is a specialized isotope-grade material. The market pricing is approximately EUR 10,000 per gram, depending on enrichment level, chemical purity, certification requirements, and application. It is generally supplied on a made-to-order basis, with minimum quantities starting from approximately 50 grams. The maximum commercially available stable isotope purity is typically around 99.99% enrichment. Accordingly, Cu-63 or Cu-65 stable isotope materials with enrichment levels up to 99.99% would generally have a market value in the range of approximately EUR 10,000–20,000 per gram, subject to final specifications, documentation, and certification requirements. Such specialized isotope materials are normally supplied against 100% advance payment by bank transfer (TT) due to their custom production nature and limited availability. --- Important technical distinction: The 6N (99.9999%) copper materials supplied by LEWIONICS are ultra-high chemical purity copper with natural isotopic abundance (Cu-63/Cu-65) and are not isotope-enriched products. They should therefore be positioned differently from enriched stable isotopes used in pharmaceutical research, radiopharmaceutical development, tracer studies, and nuclear medicine applications.
