Yesterday, innovation met curiosity right here in our headquarters in Horb am Neckar. 🚀 We had the pleasure of welcoming around 15 students from the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW Stuttgart, Campus Horb), accompanied by Prof. Dr. Andreas M. Bächler, as part of their “Manufacturing Technology” course. 🎓 What made this visit special? A full-circle perspective on modern tooling and production—within just a few kilometers. From tool research and development -- to production processes -- sharpening services -- and automated logistics --, the students gained hands-on insights into the entire value chain. And of course -- seeing how our tools perform in real woodworking and furniture applications. ☀️😎Last but not least: Practical experience included—how to keep your eyes open while facing the sun during doing the photo.☀️😎 A great exchange between theory and practice—and a reminder of how important it is to inspire the next generation of engineers.
