A small experiment on set, this Father's Day: We gave a father and son noise-cancelling headphones, then asked them the same question about values, about style. Neither could hear the other's answer. Both assumed they'd say something different. They didn't. Same answer. Same laugh. Even the same hand gesture while explaining it. Nobody rehearsed this. Our crew noticed it happening in real time, on playback, and that reaction is what you see in the film. It made us think about how much actually gets passed down before anyone's paying attention to it long before a shared value gets said out loud, it's often already a shared habit.
