Opening your heart and home to any dog, regardless of age or size, requires thought. And I'm no different than many others. I see a face, I read the circumstances, and I want to do the same thing. I react through my heart and my emotions. I'm thinking, "I'll figure out whatever I need to, after..." Many dogs are being flown from dreadful situations to safety. How wonderful for them and the families waiting for them. For those devoting their time to saving these lives, Thank You. 🫶🛩️🐾 Then I STOP! Not because I want to; because it's in the best interest of the dogs in my family, now. Adoption is a promise to any dog for a forever home. It's not a ..."let's see how it goes..." The time required for any dog to adjust to new surroundings is a variable. There are other things to consider. Lifestyle, yours and theirs. Daily requirements for everyone. If this is your 1st or your 31st dog, remember that personalities differ within the same breed. If you've had the same breed for as long as you can remember, you probably don't need me for this service. If there are other animals in your home (cats, birds), you may need to make accommodations for a new member to keep everyone safe. When something changes in your canine environment, I'll be happy to share my thoughts. My goal is to help you figure out how to remedy the issues you're experiencing and help your home life return to a peaceful state. Do you know I have a blog? Well, I do! It's the lesley osborn blog.
