Read the words in this graphic—"Those last days with you might be the best in his life." Once again, this is generic terminology depending on many variables. When a veterinarian makes an initial professional assessment saying a particular dog won't make it, they only see the dog standing in front of them. I've walked out of several offices after hearing the words: "Lesley, don't get your hopes up." And I'm glad I did, because many recovered and went on to live happy, healthy lives with me. Yes, some only have a short time left (Cours was an example). #coursandlola The four months we had together were the best for her and a blessing for me. Lola lived several years longer; another blessing. As you read my weekly stories, you will see how many seniors had a will to live that was stronger than many imagined. As always, reach out to me with your questions. It's my lifetime spent with my dogs that resulted in my company. You may have questions about things I've already experienced and have suggestions for. Do you know I have a blog? Well, I do! It's the lesley osborn blog. It's for animal lovers, and I publish a new story every Wednesday. Go there now, read my stories, follow my blog, and subscribe using the form on the blog.
