Dear LinkedIn Community and friends of the Goldener Schlüssel Österreich, As another year draws to a close, many of us find ourselves wrapping up projects, tying up loose ends, and navigating the familiar end‑of‑year rush. We love being the Christmas elves behind the scenes - adding the final touches, last‑minute adjustments, and thoughtful details to our festive itineraries for our cherished and esteemed guests. It is truly magical when everything comes together and we see pure joy reflected in their eyes. For our section of Les Clefs d’Or, this year was one to remember, filled with remarkable moments. We look back with gratitude on the beautifully organised and unforgettable national congress at the iconic Schlosshotel Velden on Lake Wörthersee - a true Austrian gem - hosted so warmly by Jean David Wiessmann, Helmut Mühringer, and hotel manager Thomas Haslauer. We then continued to the inspiring International Congress of Les Clefs d'Or® International in Madrid Les Clefs d´Or Spain - Las Llaves de Oro Españolas in April, where we celebrated many highlights, including Gregor Maximilian Köck, MBA’s outstanding achievement in winning this year’s Les Clefs d'Or Young Leaders Award in honor to Alfredo Molero. We also strengthened our commitment to education by expanding our cooperations with exceptional institutions. Tourismusschule Klessheim has now joined Tourismusschulen Semmering and the long-standing, 35‑year partnership with Tourismusschulen Bad Gleichenberg as our third educational partner - an investment in the future of our profession. We concluded this memorable year with two wonderful Christmas celebrations in Vienna and Salzburg, where we celebrated plenty of new members of our beloved federation as well as friendship and our network. Also our next candidate for the 2026 Les Clefs d'Or Young Leaders Award was presented: Isabella Habersam. She will represent Austria in this great friendly competition in Sydney! So here’s to 2025 - may it bring new opportunities, shared successes, and many unforgettable moments. Together, in friendship.
