Circe Here. Being in self isolation was really what inspired me to do this sketch. On September 17 1925 on her way home from school Frida Khalo was in a terrible bus accident that killed several people and left her bed ridden for 3 months to recover from serious injuries. At this time she considered a career as a medical illustrator. She had a special easel made so she could paint from bed. She was later quoted that the accident and isolating recovery period made her desire to begin again and paint things as she saw them. Be strong during this time my friends.
