“Climate change is advancing much faster than we expected. We urgently need to make our forests more resilient.” I heard these remarkable words last week from Falk Riedel. He is the forester of our forest adaptation project in Rosenau near Berlin where a vulnerable pine stand is becoming a resilient mixed forest. His work shows how vital forest adaptation is for biodiversity, carbon storage, and the future of our ecosystems. Yello Strom GmbH is a great example, using regional engagement and on-site visits to bring transparency and local relevance to their climate action. Beyond 100% green energy, they enable their customers to protect forests all over Germany.
