Another great edition of our biennial cell-free training course with Purdue University wrapped up yesterday! ๐ Every two years, we have the pleasure of welcoming Purdue students to LenioBio for an immersive morning session before they continue their European industry tour. This year was no different, great energy, great questions, and great conversations. The group explored three key topics: ๐ฌ An introduction to LenioBio and what we're building โ๏ธ The fundamentals of cell-free protein synthesis ๐ญ From R&D to Production: what actually changes when you take a cell-free process out of the lab and scale it up for manufacturing That last topic always sparks the liveliest discussion. The gap between an elegant R&D process and a robust manufacturing process is real, and helping the next generation of scientists think critically about that translation is exactly why programmes like this matter. Thank you to everyone at Purdue for making the trip, especially to Abigail Engelberth for organizing, and to our team for putting together another excellent session (thanks to the LenioBio team Juliane Norf , Jorge Armero Gimรฉnez , Maja Lieven (nรฉe Rennig), PhD and Jonathan Fauerbach (PhD, MBA)). See you in two years! ๐ #CellFree #Biotech #Purdue #LenioBio #ProteinSynthesis #Training #NextGenScientists
