Lendlease welcomes the NSW Government's decision to progress the vision for the redevelopment of Rozelle Bay to Stage 2 of the unsolicited proposals process. Forming part of the broader Bays West precinct, the proposed redevelopment presents a generational opportunity to create a vibrant harbourside precinct, delivering up to 3,000 new and diverse homes, including affordable housing, on the edge of Sydney’s CBD. Directly connected to the new Bays Metro Station, the proposal aims to complete 1,000 of these homes by 2032, accelerating the supply of well-located housing close to jobs, services and public transport. Beyond housing, the vision includes new public open spaces and access to the waterfront that would enable a harbourside loop connecting Rozelle Bay to Glebe, the new Sydney Fish Market and Pyrmont.
