Twenty-four years ago this month, alongside my Minnesota State Moorhead teammates (Tracy, Shala, and more), I competed in the AAF National Student Advertising Competition in AAF District 8. This past weekend, I had the privilege of serving as a judge for that same competition in AAF District 7 in Knoxville, TN. Getting to work alongside judges Brianna, Eva, and Sarah Wagner was fantastic! The students clearly put in an incredible amount of time and effort over the past year. It’s no small feat to deliver these presentations and then engage with questions, critiques, and feedback. There was plenty of inspiring work on display, and it’s clear that many future creative leaders will come out of this competition. Kudos to all of the students. A huge thank you to the National Football League (NFL) for sponsoring a great case study and AAF District 7 for the opportunity. Thanks to Mark, Adriane, and others involved for your gracious hospitality.
