Yesterday, Xiaomi Technology and Leica Camera AG officially launched the new Xiaomi 17T Series in Vienna, marking the latest milestone in the successful partnership between the two companies. The new series, consisting of the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro, combines advanced Xiaomi mobile imaging technology with Leica Summilux optics to deliver the distinctive Leica look across a wide range of photographic scenarios. Both devices feature a three-camera system, including a Leica main camera, Leica 5x telephoto lens and Leica ultra wide-angle camera. A key highlight is the Leica Live Moment, a new feature that captures movement and emotion in dynamic 2K images, enabling a new form of visual storytelling with Leica character. “With the Xiaomi 17T series, we’re taking another step towards our shared vision of mobile photography,” said Marius Eschweiler, MBA, Vice President Mobile Business Unit at Leica Camera AG.
