☝ We think of education as a powerful driver of change, a systemic response for the complex and interconnected problems the world is facing. That is why the Learning Planet Institute trains « solution architects » - people who can connect disciplines, harness AI for the common good, and turn anxiety into action. Quite an ambitious agenda, but one necessary to build sustainable, inclusive and learning societies. ✨ Last week, we were happy to take part in the Normandie pour la Paix World Forum, both as guests & speakers - you might have heard our President François Taddei -, and as programme partner - animating an interactive workshop for over 160 young people, the Peace Lab. 👉 Peace Labs were created in close collaboration between Learning Planet Institute and Global Education Futures. Having already seen success at the Qatar WISE forum and the Learning Planet Festival (co-organised with UNESCO), the initiative continued its impact in Normandy. 👉 At the 2026 Normandie pour la Paix World Forum, our facilitators, Ilia Lysenko and Edward Stevenette, guided participants through a collaborative and creative process to navigate difficult subjects and envision more positive futures. By applying a futures-thinking approach, the group successfully translated peace frameworks into more than 70 practical micro-projects. 👏 👉 These initiatives focused on raising awareness, driving social media engagement, and identifying immediate steps that participants could start implementing in the near future. 🤝 Thank you to all the participants. And thank you to the Normandie pour la Paix World Forum for the invitation & for creating this much needed space to help build peace in our futures.
