It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Dr. Ron Short, a seminal figure in the early years of the Leadership Institute of Seattle (LIOS). As part of the founding faculty alongside John Scherer and Robert Crosby, Ron was instrumental in shaping LIOS’s foundation. While John and Robert brought vision and innovation, Ron provided the academic rigor and structure that helped establish LIOS as a respected institution. His contributions have left an enduring legacy, and his impact will be felt by all who continue to learn and grow through the work he helped create.
