🚀 Major milestone reached! 🚀 We’re thrilled to announce that mocaciclib (Q901), a next-generation CDK7 inhibitor stemming from a Lead Discovery Center GmbH program, has dosed its first patient in a Phase 2 trial for HR+ breast cancer resistant to CDK4/6 inhibitors 🎯 In 2015, Qurient Co., Ltd. licensed the project from Lead Discovery Center GmbH and the Max Planck Society, advancing it from lead stage through preclinical validation, IND-enabling work, and now into clinical development. This innovative drug blocks CDK7 – a key protein in cell cycle progression – which can help fight cancer growth, especially in patients with limited treatment options. This milestone highlights what global collaboration can achieve. A big thanks to Qurient Co., Ltd., Max-Planck-Innovation GmbH, Max Planck Society and Max-Planck-Förderstiftung for being part of this translational journey 🤝 We’re excited to see how LDC-driven science can make a real difference for patients!
