Today marks the World Patient Safety Day 2020! No better time to launch a new, comprehensive report calling for a robust regulatory framework for #nanomedicines and #nanosimilars in Europe to open up new and improved therapeutic opportunities and address unmet medical needs for citizens. As the EU is preparing to launch a new Pharmaceutical Strategy for Europe in the coming months, I invite you all to raise awareness and build a pan-European medical agency consensus so that regulatory weaknesses can be addressed through a robust regulatory pathway and thus provide medicines with the highest quality, safety and efficacy profiles to European patients.
