👉 An innovative PhD at the intersection of geochemistry and geothermal energy! ✨ I am pleased to announce an exciting new PhD project: Enhanced mobilization of CRM from rocks and minerals during geothermal operations🦠💡. The PhD will be hosted at BRGM and will also include research stays and enriching exchanges with A. Spinthaki (Kurita Group), Simona Regenspurg  (GFZ Helmholtz Centre for Geosciences), Saskia Bindschedler (Université de Neuchâtel). 🎯 The objective? to develop technical solutions to enhance the release of CRMs into geothermal reservoirs, exploring the combined role of chemical agents and microorganisms adapted to reservoir pressure and temperature conditions. A sustainable solution to accelerate geothermal development and contributing to greater energy independence. 🌱⚡ 📚 Project framework: This PhD is part of the MiningBrines project, supported by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Networks (MSCA-DN) and coordinated by UniLaSalle Beauvais with ghislain trullenque. MiningBrines brings together 19 doctoral candidates working on a key challenge: the sustainable valorization of geothermal brines, which are rich in critical raw materials. 💎🔬 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬 You are our ideal future candidate if: ✅ You have experience in geochemistry ✅ You are passionate about geosciences and environmental challenges ✅ You enjoy laboratory and modelling 📩 Ready to join us? Apply now: https://lnkd.in/eXNhXNWJ We look forward to collaborating with you on this truly exciting project!
