What a difference a year makes ✨ A year ago, we brought together procurement colleagues across Honda Motor Europe Ltd for our very first Sustainable Procurement Alliance. This week, we delivered our third, very kindly hosted by our colleagues at Montesa Honda. And honestly… the shift has been incredible. A year ago, we were building the foundations, bringing ESG and sustainability into supply chain conversations and shaping what it could mean for us. This week, we launched our ESG risk management approach, developed collaboratively to strengthen due diligence and drive meaningful action across our supply chain. That evolution feels significant. But what stood out most wasn’t just the framework, it was my colleagues in the room. ➡️ The confidence. ➡️ The structured thinking. ➡️ The ability to apply ESG risk concepts in a practical, real-world way. The level of engagement was brilliant, thoughtful discussions, healthy challenge, and so many strong ideas shared. And that’s the real progress. Because a year ago, we were still finding our direction. Now engaging suppliers in Sustainability discussions and ESG risk management is starting to feel like second nature. That kind of shift doesn’t happen by accident, it comes from collaboration, openness, and people being willing to lean into something new, breaking down silo's and enabling collaboration. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed, you made the session what it was, and I am definitely on a high! Now comes the exciting part: turning those conversations into real, tangible impact!!
