Doan Incorporated (The Doan Foundation) got us lifted, shifted, higher than the ceiling & ooh wee it’s the ultimate feeling! ❤️‍🔥🎉👏🏾 This past weekend we came together to celebrate The Doan Gala uplifting the transformative power of the arts & the impacts it makes when given the opportunity to our marginalized communities! ✨ We celebrated 10 amazing youth artists with scholarships, enjoyed epic performances by 220 Dance Team and Electric Violinist Yennie Lam , raised funds thanks to phenomenal art by Thao Huynh French, Horiran, and BLVCK LOTVS SOCIAL CLUB, & were taken down memory lane to better times with Grammy-nominated singer Frankie J. 🥹💖 We even witnessed the historic dubbing of July 26, 2025 as the official “Frankie J. Day” in the City of San Diego written by my amazing partner Dustin Nguyen & shared by Councilmember Kent Lee & County Supervisor Monica Montgomery Steppe 🏆 This evening & the transformative work that The Doan Foundation does would not be possible without the visionary & fearless leadership of Dennis Doan & Lori Kongmalay 🫶🏾 I am so deeply honored to be on the Board of this organization alongside our fierce community advocates. Even more, I am so grateful & inspired to be your friends in this journey to providing this next generation with the wings they deserve; Suga, suga that’s how we get so fly!🪽
