Recruiting @ Circle
I didn’t expect to be writing this, but I was impacted by the recent layoffs at Meta. The past 10 years in recruiting have meant a lot to me. I’ve had the opportunity to work across quant trading, tech, and consulting, supporting hiring from university all the way through leadership roles. But what’s stayed constant is the people. The candidates who trusted me with big decisions, the late night prep calls, the nerves before final rounds, and the moments where everything just clicked and someone stepped into something new. I’ve always tried to approach this work in a very human way. Recruiting isn’t just filling roles, it’s being part of someone’s story for a moment, and that’s something I’ve never taken lightly. This timing is a little surreal personally. I just bought my first home in Austin last month, and was just starting to settle into that new chapter. But if there’s one thing this career has taught me, it’s how to navigate change and keep moving forward. I’m really grateful for the people I’ve worked with and the relationships I’ll carry with me from Meta and beyond. I’m now open to new opportunities in Austin and would love to connect with teams who value thoughtful, relationship-driven hiring. And if we’ve worked together before, I’d genuinely love to hear from you. Even just a quick hello or sharing this post would mean more than you know 🤍
