In my keynote, I shared whatย #futuresthinkingย andย #foresightย can bring to the table when navigating change and high levels of uncertainty - and shared some of my hypotheses what will shape the future of work in the next decade(s). As Holger Ringelย fromย #alliantisย shared in his opening words: The #workforce #transformation ahead is not a future problem. Even though 2030 seems far in the future, is just about 2-3 budget cycles away. While attending the day, the following observations stood out to me: ๐ค AI is not simply replacing tasksย โ it is creating an entirely new organizational layer. That demands new governance, new role design, and new leadership. How organizations navigate this change will be a distinctive force in the future. ๐ฑ Both technology literacy and human adaptability will be the currency of organizational resilience.ย Thriving companies will be those that manage to orchestrate a co-evolution of AI transformation and upskilling. ๐ฆพ ย What kind of #learningculture are we actually building for such a world? Will we foster self-directed, autonomous learning environments where employees take full ownership of their development, or will we keep relying on more structured, pre-determined pathways that guide and standardize how learning unfolds? ๐ทโโ๏ธ Much of the AI discourse centers on #knowledgeworkers, but a critical question remains: how can organizations ensure that future readiness extends to the entire workforce, equipping all employees - not just those in knowledge-intensive roles - with the skills and capabilities needed to navigate ongoing transformation?
