In "Europe’s Talent Paradox: Why Skilled Migrants Stay Stuck," Olha Tsiupiak recounts her experience transitioning into Danish society from her homeland Ukraine following the Russian invasion, and the career obstacles she has faced. For professionals relocating to Denmark, qualifications and experience don’t always translate to skilled work. Being employed doesn’t necessarily come hand in hand with career growth. (👆you can say that again) This comes down to an interplay of several factors: Knowledge of the Danish labour market, the necessity for language classes and financial stability are just a handful. But It’s not all doom and gloom.
