LLUM Batel, Built by one of the leaders in green building in Brazil, Laguna Construction, designed by Baggio-Schiavon, the residential tower won the latest LEED Homes Awards 2021. Using LED based illumination, with sensors and abundant glass, allied to VRF AC and exhausters with demand sensors, the structure had 15% more reduction of energy when compared to the standard reference of LEED. The tower still has 23 photovoltaic modules installed on the roof combined with water and wastage efficiency features that still provide comfortable usage, reaching 20% more of reduction then the market standard. Adding to the whole, 50% of the wood used are FSC certified and various recycled materials were used in the overall building.
