Yesterday, I had the opportunity to take the floor and lead a lecture at UCL Global Business School for Health, in which I hosted a simulated WHO symposium on AI communication standards for global health, focussing on misinformation, trust and governance for a class of 100 students🤖🩺. It was incredible to see the room come alive as students stepped into the roles of different stakeholders-debating perspectives from policymakers, technology companies, healthcare providers, and regulators. The level of critical thinking, curiosity, and collaboration they brought to the discussion made the session genuinely energising. Moments like this remind me how powerful interactive learning can be📚👩🏻🏫. Watching students challenge ideas, defend positions, and explore the complexities of AI in health communication was both inspiring and exciting. A big thank you to my supervisor Dr Watjana Lilaonitkul, for trusting me to take the lead on this session and giving me the opportunity to host (I had a lot of fun pretending to be the WHO Secretariat👩🏻⚖️). Experiences like this make teaching and learning in global health truly rewarding. #GlobalHealth #AIinHealth #HealthCommunication #HigherEducation #UCL
