Recently, our CEO Matthias Zachert, inaugurated our new LANXESS China headquarters in Shanghai. The event included a traditional Lion’s Dance – which symbolizes luck, success, and new beginnings. This move is another step in expanding our activities in China and strengthening local innovation for our customers. Visits to Unitree Robotics and Alibaba Group revealed the deep integration of robotics and AI into daily operations and logistics in China, setting strong benchmarks for industrial applications. This trip made one thing clear: China is not only a key market for LANXESS but also an integral part of our global setup and innovation landscape.
