🆕 Editorial: Key facts about the Bundibugyo virus outbreak 📢 ‘The immediate priority is a coordinated response supported by WHO and the international community to strengthen the core pillars of EVD control: case detection, contact tracing, availability of personal protective equipment for frontline workers, and high-quality supportive care for patients. Beyond this outbreak, the key lesson must be to bolster the research and development pipeline so that we are prepared for the next EVD outbreak, regardless of the species behind it’.
