Thursday, June 11th we're opening up our factory and studio on Cleveland's west side for the 5th annual Designed in Cleveland event. This year's theme is Materials & Making. Three presenters will explore how designers think about material choices, manufacturing, and fabrication from completely different angles: j Nate Cotterman & Antonia Campanella (Nate Cotterman Glass) bring a craft-based perspective rooted in glasswork. Brian Hendricks (Lofted Goods) designs for people who do their own manufacturing. Alex M. (Rockwell Automation) designs tools that enable manufacturing at scale.
