We would like to extend our warm wishes to all our Jewish colleagues who will be celebrating Passover over the coming days. We hope you have a meaningful and peaceful Passover and a blessed season. Passover, which this year begins on the evening of Wednesday 1 April and ends on Thursday 9 April, is one of the most significant festivals in Judaism. It commemorates the liberation of the Jewish people from slavery in Egypt more than 3,000 years ago. The festival is a time for reflection and storytelling, beginning with the seder - a ritual meal during which the youngest participant traditionally asks the Four Questions, Mah Nishtanah, about what makes the night different from all others. Throughout the festival, many Jewish people refrain from eating leavened foods, known as chametz, as part of the tradition.
