A nationally recognised respiratory training course led by Lancashire Teaching Hospitals has reached an impressive milestone – celebrating 20 years of educating clinicians from across the UK and around the world. The British Thoracic Society Interventional Bronchoscopy / Thoracoscopy Short Course has now trained more than 600 doctors in advanced respiratory procedures, helping improve services and patient care across the NHS and beyond. Delivered in partnership with the BTS and supported by a dedicated multidisciplinary team, the course continues to equip clinicians with the skills, knowledge and confidence to deliver safer, more effective care.
