As we continue to mark National Volunteers' Week at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals, recognising the contribution of more than 300 volunteers across the Trust, members of our leadership team will be out and about experiencing volunteering first-hand. Today it was the turn of Chief Medical Officer Steve Canty, who joined Carole Oldcorn in the 🚑 Emergency Department this morning. Carole has been a volunteer for 11 years and is also a Public Governor at the Trust.
