After an incredible 50 years of caring for others, we’re celebrating the remarkable career of Noeleen Griggs, who has officially retired from nursing — leaving behind a legacy that spans generations. 💙 From starting her training in 1971 at the old Preston Royal Infirmary to spending decades dedicated to neurosurgery, Noeleen has witnessed the NHS evolve and grow, all while remaining a constant source of compassion, resilience and expertise. Her influence continues through her daughter Anneen and granddaughter Amelia, who proudly followed in her footsteps here at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals. Surrounded by family, friends and colleagues, Noeleen marked her retirement with laughter, heartfelt memories and a few happy tears as her family paid tribute to her extraordinary dedication. We wish Noeleen a long, joyful retirement filled with family time, adventures — and a well‑earned rest. 💐 You can read the full story on our website: https://lnkd.in/e_8CmXgR
