We are honoured to celebrate the 100th birthday of Syed Babar Ali, Founding Pro Chancellor of LUMS, whose vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment to excellence, access, and nation-building have shaped generations of leaders and transformed higher education in Pakistan. To mark this historic milestone, we are proud to announce the establishment of the Syed Babar Ali Hundred for Hundred Qarz-e-Hasna Fund, a PKR 100 million financial assistance initiative made possible through the generosity of the Hundred for Hundred Founding Donors. This distinguished group of LUMS alumni and supporters has come together to honour Babar Sahab's extraordinary contribution to education and his enduring influence on countless lives. LUMS extends its heartfelt gratitude to the founding donors: Ms. Emma Ahmed & Mr. Usman Ahmed (MBA 1995), Ms. Zahrah & Mr. Sohail Khan (MBA 1996), Mr. Muneeb Ali (BSc 2003), Mrs. Zarina Almakky & Mr. Ali Almakky (MBA 1996), Ms. Saadia Ikram & Mr. Shahzad Ali (BSc 1997), and Ms. Ayesha & Mr. Shahzad Saleem (MBA 1989).
