LUMS is proud to celebrate the achievement of alumnus Syed Muhammad Ismail (BSc '21), Co-founder and COO of Saraaf, who has been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia 2026 list for his work in transforming commodity sourcing through technology, bringing greater transparency and efficiency to trade across Central and South Asia. Since launching Saraaf in 2021, he has helped build a platform that enables businesses to access real-time pricing, track shipments, manage digital contracts, and communicate seamlessly through a mobile-first platform. Today, Saraaf is helping modernise commodity sourcing across the region and is preparing for its next phase of growth.
