LUMS is pleased to announce the Dr. Zaeem Jafri Memorial Scholarship Fund, established in collaboration with the Jafri family to strengthen support for the National Outreach Programme (NOP) and expand access to quality education for talented students across Pakistan. The Fund honours the legacy of Dr. Zaeem Jafri, who served LUMS from 1996 to 2009 as Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Dean of the Mathematics Department, and later Director of the Office of Student Affairs. The MoU was signed by Dr. Ali Cheema, Vice Chancellor, LUMS, and Dr. Abida Zaeem Jafri, wife of late Dr. Zaeem Jafri. Also present at the ceremony were Dr. Fareed Jafri, Assistant Professor, UET, and Mr. Almaee Jafri, General Manager, NMF, LUMS. Remembered for his dedication to teaching, mentorship, and student development, Dr. Jafri left a lasting impact on generations of students and colleagues. LUMS is grateful to the Jafri family for their generosity and commitment to creating life-changing educational opportunities for deserving students.
