WOVEN THREADS VII: “CRAFTED” 9TH – 12TH APRIL, 2026 — Curator: Sunny Dolat Co-Founder, The Nest Collective Cultural Producer & Creative Director, Nairobi — Sunny Dolat is a Kenyan cultural producer, creative director, and fashion curator whose interdisciplinary practice lies at the intersection of art, design, and critical cultural inquiry. Co-founder of the Nest Collective, his work is defined by intellectual rigour and aesthetic precision, spanning curatorial practice, visual art, installation, and performance. Named to The Business of Fashion’s BoF 500 in 2022, Sunny Dolat’s practice critically examines how image, adornment, and representation mediate identity and belonging within contemporary African and diasporic contexts. His curatorial projects span London, Paris, Amsterdam, Nairobi, and beyond, and his publication ‘Not African Enough’ (2016) remains a landmark critical text in African fashion discourse. For CRAFTED, Dolat brings his signature lens on cloth, identity, and systems of making to anchor Woven Threads’ most ambitious edition yet. Woven Threads returns in April 2026.
