We had the pleasure of welcoming to Morocco, on February 16 and 17, Kim Fausing, Chairman of the Holcim Group, accompanied by Martin Kriegner, Region Head Asia, Middle East and Africa; Carmen Díaz Canabal, Chief People & Sustainability Officer; Lukas Studer, Group General Counsel; Grant Earnshaw Earnshaw , Area Manager Middle East & Africa; and Rajesh Surana , CFO Region Asia, Middle East, Africa, for a strategic immersion at the heart our operations in Morocco. The first stage of the visit highlighted key pillars of our industrial expertise and innovation capabilities, aligned with our ambition to be the partner of choice for sustainable construction. 📍 At the Sustainable Construction Lab (SCL) – our center of excellence and innovation, our teams presented our commercial and marketing visions, and showcased the SCL’s key role in developing high-performance and sustainable solutions 📍 At the Settat plant – a strategic lever for industrial transformation, the delegation discovered the plant’s performance along with several major projects part of our decarbonization roadmap 📍 At Casa Anfa – the delegation witnessed first hand the large-scale 350-hectare urban project under development in the heart of Casablanca, on the historical site of the old Casablanca airport, and visited our state-of-the-art Concrete RMX plant that serves the needs of our customers contributing to this ambitious project The visit continued with a Townhall meeting held with the Senior Managers at the company’s headquarters, enabling direct exchanges between employees and the Holcim delegation. Key achievements were celebrated in Health & Safety, Industrial Excellent, and People with the Top Employer award. This visit reflects our ambition to accelerate innovation, strengthen industrial performance, and advance sustainable construction.
