We are pleased to announce that Laerdal Medical India and Kasturba Medical College Mangalore have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to establish the Centre for Integrated Healthcare Simulation & Skills (CIHSimS) – Mangalore-Laerdal Centre of Excellence. Together, we share a commitment to simulation-based learning, standardized skills training, and improving patient safety through education. The Centre of Excellence is designed to support future healthcare professionals with opportunities to learn, practice, and build confidence in safe, high-fidelity learning environments. It also aims to serve as a benchmark for integrated healthcare simulation training. The initiative aligns with our mission of helping save lives through education, training, and innovation in resuscitation and simulation-based learning. It also supports our vision of strengthening healthcare systems and preparing healthcare providers to deliver safer, higher-quality care. We look forward to the impact this collaboration will have on healthcare education, healthcare providers, and the patients they serve.
