Helping save lives, together with the Japan Red Cross Society and the Norwegian Crown Prince! This week H.R.H. Crown Prince Haakon of Norway visited the Japan Red Cross Society headquarters in Tokyo, marking 100 years of training to protect lives and a long partnership with Laerdal Medical. What stood out was the people behind it all. The pride, the commitment, and the sense of responsibility you can feel when you meet volunteers and trainers who have carried this work forward for generations. For more than 60 years, we have been part of this journey. Seeing it up close reinforces just how important this collaboration is, and what it helps make possible. It is also a strong reminder of something we see across markets: the importance of preparedness and strong emergency care systems, in Japan, in Norway, and globally.
