Nothing compares to the joy of sharing your knowledge and passion with those who truly cherish it. I’ve spent 14 years of my life studying classical piano, dedicating countless hours to refining my craft. For the past year, I was fortunate to have the opportunity to pass on that knowledge to young pianists, from Indonesia to here in Belfast. This week marked my final lesson with all of my brilliant students, and I just want to say how grateful I am for the memories we’ve shared, the lessons we’ve learned together, and the kindness you’ve shown me throughout this journey. To me, studying music isn’t just about reading notes on a page or playing an instrument. It’s a personal journey of self-discovery. It teaches you patience, resilience, and a deeper understanding of how you work and express yourselves. To all my students, thank you for the wonderful memories, your kind words, and thoughtful gifts. It’s been a privilege to be part of your musical journeys, and I hope you continue to find joy not just in the music, but in what it teaches you about yourselves.
