My First Month as an Intern at JPMorganChase This week has been a valuable moment to reflect on my first month with the firm. I’ve stepped beyond my comfort zone by learning a new programming language, tackling real-world challenges with technologies that were initially unfamiliar to me. I have also contributed to two projects, one successfully completed alongside my teammates, and the other currently in progress. I am truly grateful to my manager, project lead, and colleagues for generously sharing their time and guidance throughout this experience. I also appreciate the support of my fellow interns, who consistently make time to connect each week, and extend a special thank you to Will Mahood for going the extra mile to organize activities that bring us interns together. This week, I had the privilege to participate in Corporate Responsibility Day, engaging in community service such as litter picking, painting fences and benches, and shoveling. It was a rewarding experience, and it emphasized the importance of balancing technical work with community engagement. I remain thankful for the trust I’ve been given, the ongoing opportunities to grow, and the chance to contribute meaningfully both within the company and beyond.
