🌈 As part of our Connect & Learn series, last week colleagues joined a special Pride Month session led by Alexandra Locke and Madison Hilliard. Connect & Learn forms part of our wider Diversity, Equity & Inclusion activity, creating opportunities for colleagues to hear different perspectives, build understanding and explore topics that help us create a more inclusive workplace. During the session, Alex and Madie shared their personal experiences, reflecting on their own journeys, the meaning of Pride, and why visibility, dignity, safety, belonging and support continue to matter. The conversation explored the role of allyship in the workplace, and how small, everyday actions can help make people feel included. From using inclusive language and being open to learning, to asking thoughtful questions and listening without judgement, the session was a reminder that inclusion is something we all help shape. Most importantly, it helped normalise conversations that people may not always feel confident having. By creating a safe space to listen, learn and share experiences, we can build greater understanding and strengthen the sense of belonging across our teams. Because Pride at work isn’t just about celebration. It’s about helping create a culture where everyone feels safe, seen and able to thrive.
